Data sources and corrections

Listings are sourced from public business records and each retailer's own website. Incentive figures are sourced from statutes, government agency pages, and DSIRE, in that order of precedence. EPA certification data comes from the EPA's certified wood heater database. Every figure carries a "verified as of" date — see our full methodology.

Requesting a correction or removal

Use our corrections form to report a wrong listing, an incorrect brand association, a stale incentive figure, or incorrect EPA data, or to request a listing be removed. We do not charge for corrections or removals.
